What to Expect ...

In 8 video classes of 60 to 90 minutes each, GuruMeher shares with you the concepts of emotional healing that have served so many. Each lesson includes experiential practices, valuable charts and written exercises to download and use. Take a week or longer to do the self-inquiry, discovery and growth contained in each lesson.

  • You will clarify and break down your reactive patterns that provoke strong emotions and out-of-control reactions as well as the specific things that trigger you. You will be guided through a process to reduce and eventually eliminate and replace these with attitudes, feelings and actions of your choosing.

  • You will come to see "trauma" as adverse experiences that have touched us all and left the residue of reactions and various forms of dysfunction. AND, you will gain Post-Traumatic Growth, the gifts of strength and wisdom from your past.

I am a Certified Yoga Therapist and Professional Life Coach and have been teaching and counseling for forty years. My quest for personal healing and clinical experience with clients led to a discovery of the key role of emotions as a natural system of psychological self-healing. Emotional Liberation joins my first book, Senses of the Soul: Emotional Therapy for Strength, Healing and Guidance in providing a simple and effective method to use difficult feelings as tools for personal growth.   • What benefits can I expect?

    Emotions, which are for better or worse ever-present in our lives, will never again be a mystery. You will learn why you feel bad or how to feel better.   • What if I don't have any trauma or have severe trauma?

    We all have experienced things in our lives that have limited us in some way. Regardless of whether yours are so small that you dismiss them and don't even consider them to be trauma, or whether they were earth-shattering, this process can dissolve denial, intimidation or overwhelm between you and those adverse experiences; it puts the power back in your hands.

  • Are there videos to watch or is it live with you?

    The 8 video classes deliver the main content. They are much more than lectures, combining information with practice, self-inquiry and projects to explore before proceeding to the next class. Live group coaching is a recommended support to this work through the weekly Self-Therapy Group when active. See the course catalogue to enroll.

  • How much time will it take?

    The videos average 75 minutes. Best results will come with another hour of reflection and time spent with the exercises. A daily practice using the guided meditations in the video class is highly recommended. Much of your transformation comes from insights as you live your life and see things anew; no extra time required. This can fit a busy schedule while having enough resources to support a full study. As adult learners, we do it our own way!

  • Do I need the book? Is it included?

    No, but I'll send it to you. It is included as the perfect course companion; it is based on the book! However, all the written material you need is on the course platform: a class study guide that follows the video and other materials.

  • Is it worth the money?

    This a very individual question and personal decision. I'll just say that in my life I have spent a good bit of time and money (I put it in my budget!) over the years on personal growth and my mental-emotional health. And I enjoy the cumulative benefits every day.
